This department shall promote the welfare of church members and those in neighboring communities who are deprived of livelihood, the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed, the homeless, beggars, hermaphrodites, convicted criminals and their families, migrant laborers, and so on. This department shall identify areas of concern that deserve the compassionate response of faith communities, and design appropriate programs for the welfare of such disadvantaged individuals, families, and groups. This department shall create awareness of the needs of such populations, raise funds towards these ends, and extend support to people who are suffering. This department shall be headed by Rev. K. Joy and Team.
